Back in 2021 we took a look at be quiet’s Pure Base 500DX case. We liked it so much it actually became the case we use for our CPU cooler reviews. be quiet! also recently introduced their first RGB fans, the Light Wings which we took a look at as well. With two great products the only logical thing to do is combine them and that is what be quiet! has done! The new Pure Base 500 FX case keeps the same overall design, but adds four of the Light Wings fans as well as the controller with everything pre-wired and ready to go! This is a high airflow case so not only is it going to look good with those fans, you are going to get proper airflow as well! Let’s take a look!

Packaging
The Pure Base 500 FX comes in your standard case box with a picture of the case on the front. On the back we have an exploded view of the case and some of the main features detailed.
Opening the box up the case is nicely protected by Styrofoam and a plastic bag. The tempered glass side panel has film on it to make sure it does not get scratched during shipping.
